The Macedonian HeAlth pilot training, designed to test and assess educational content on providing healthcare for autistic people, was successfully delivered from 26 November to 23 December 2025.
Guided by project co-authors Prof. Jasmina Troshanska and Katerina Hadjiska Nicheska, the five-week program in Macedonian allowed participants to work through all eight modules independently on the HeAlth e-learning platform and at their own pace.
A total of 151 participants from across North Macedonia took part, including 25% family members of autistic individuals, 53% healthcare professionals (more than half with previous experience working with autistic patients), and 22% students.
The learning process was enriched with three online mentoring sessions, and participant feedback on the training content was extremely positive.
