In mid-December, A Thousand Wishes Foundation hosted the HeAlth project's Serbian multiplier event in Belgrade—just before the New Year and winter holidays—to welcome a strong crowd of parents, professionals, and students.
A total of 100 people attended: the group included autistic individuals, family members of autistic individuals, healthcare professionals, healthcare associates like special educators and psychologists, plus students from medical, dental, and special education faculties.

Prof. Mirjana Đorđević revealed healthcare professionals autism knowledge gaps and confidence levels and prof. Nenad Glumbić introduced all 8 HeAlth modules.

As a real-world preparation strategy, special educators Snežana Babović Dimitrijević and Jelena Mrvić from "Anton Skala" school demoed their "Medical Room" for getting autistic children ready for blood draws and dental work—complete with success videos, including a boy's tooth repair!

For the closing key topic, prof. Nenad Glumbić spotlighted health challenges for autistic women, a growing global focus.
